Description

Flexbar - flexible barcode detection and adapter removal, former name FAR, is an ideal tool to preprocess sequencing data. It demultiplexes barcoded runs and removes adapter sequences. Flexbar increases mapping rates and improves genome and transcriptome assemblies. It supports sequencing data in fasta/q and csfasta/q format from Illumina, Roche 454, or SOLiD platform. Parameter names changed in Flexbar. Please review scripts.
