The current methods distribution of source code, sample inputs, and sample outputs is just under 10.7 GiB compressed. It has been split into six pieces that must be downloaded separately, concatenated, un-gzip’d, and un-tar’d. Having ~24 GiB (or ~26 GB) of free space should be sufficient for expansion (but you will need much more free space for, e.g., tree building). The filesystem you expand onto is assumed to support symbolic links.
