This wiki contains thousands of tools, allowing to classify according to their by function and targeted biological domain. It is really helpful for many of us to find the best tools for our data. But it needs a continue maintenance and improvement. It was decided to give freedom to the people to classify the tools, to allow that this way any kind of novel methods, or targeted function could appear easily. But this caused an over-representation of terms, and makes difficult the task to find what one is looking for.
We are asking to all people to help to clean the wiki, removing redundant terms, collapsing synonymous by the most used, and organizing the terms in the right space. Here you have some tips to do this easily and quickly.
