About the software page
The page needs to be extensively developed as the main 'content hub' for the site. Existing content is very 'rough' and should be considered as demonstrating what can be done (and not necessarily how it should be done!). --Dan 18:10, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Beta
This 'software hub' is essentially designed (as of today) as a beta release of the 'user contributed software database' maintained on the wiki. We should certainly consider the current state of the page as beta. --Dan 18:25, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
